Join our Team
At GT Gymnastics, our competitive program is designed to help athletes grow into strong, confident, hardworking young people—both inside and outside the gym.
Our coaches provide structured training, clear skill progressions, and a supportive team environment where athletes can challenge themselves, celebrate their accomplishments, and work toward meaningful competitive goals.
Athletes do not need to know which program or level is right for them before completing the interest form. Our coaching staff will review each gymnast’s experience, current skills, goals, age, and readiness to recommend the best pathway.
Our Competitive Programs
Xcel Team
Our Xcel Team offers a flexible competitive experience for athletes who want to build skills, perform personalized routines, and participate in gymnastics competitions.
GT Gymnastics offers Xcel levels from Bronze through Sapphire. Training expectations increase as athletes progress, allowing gymnasts to grow within the program while balancing gymnastics with school, family, and other activities.
Development Team
Our Development Team follows the USA Gymnastics competitive pathway from the introductory levels through Levels 1–10, with advanced opportunities that may include TOPS, HOPES, and Elite training.
This program is designed for athletes who are ready for a more intensive training schedule, long-term skill development, and increased competitive expectations.
Competitive gymnastics requires more than advanced skills. We look for athletes who demonstrate:
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- The ability to listen and follow coaching instructions
- Consistent effort and strong work habits
- Enthusiasm for gymnastics
- The ability to work respectfully with coaches and teammates
- Readiness for the commitment required by the recommended program
Previous competitive experience is helpful but is not always required. Placement is based on the individual athlete and the available opportunities within our programs.
How the team placement process works:
1. Complete the Team Interest Form
Tell us about your gymnast, including their age, experience, current skills, goals, and previous gymnastics program.
2. Our Coaching Staff Reviews the Information
We will determine which program may be the best starting point for your athlete.
3. Schedule an Evaluation or Trial Practice
Your gymnast may be invited to attend an evaluation, clinic, or trial practice so our coaches can observe their skills, strength, flexibility, focus, and coachability.
4. Receive a Placement Recommendation
Families will receive information about the recommended program, training schedule, tuition, competition expectations, and next steps. (Submitting the form does not require you to join and does not guarantee placement. It simply helps us begin the conversation and determine the best opportunity for your gymnast.)
Ready to Learn More?
Complete our Team Interest Form so our coaching staff can learn more about your gymnast and help you determine the best next step.
The form takes approximately five minutes to complete. A member of our staff will contact you after reviewing your submission.
